Block course
Macrophage Biology: in vitro, in vivo, in silico. A four-week block course for D-BIOL, ETH Zürich, Spring Semester 2027. Students build the textbook M1/M2 picture of macrophages with their own hands in a dish, then test it against real tissue macrophages in a published single-cell dataset. There are no prerequisites: the course starts from scratch. The lectures are optional further reading, with Tissue Repair I the closest in content.
The Blockrophage course runs for the first time in spring 2027 and is being built in the open. Interested students are welcome to apply and to give input through the contact page or the issues on GitHub. Please do not use these protocols in the lab yet. Values are unverified until this notice is gone.
The repository is the course: the script, the schedule, every protocol, the background reading, the analysis code and a single-file companion students can hand to the language model of their choice.
